Good for the Employer:

360° Feedback enables an employer to gain a holistic view of their company. To see how staff interaction, both with their co-workers and their superiors, effects the day to day running of the business.

These observations allow managers to strive for improvements in staff performance, thereby improving the company's performance.

Good for the Employee:

From an employee perspective 360° Feedback can be an essential tool in developing within a workplace.

The 360° Feedback process highlights the skills of an employee as well as the areas that may be in need of development. It is then in working through these needs and building on these strengths that an employee can optimise their contributions and excel in their field.

Good for you?

Let's find out how 360° Feedback can help your business:

What is 360 Degree Feedback?

360 degree feedback is a review process where an individual receives confidential and anonymous feedback regarding their performance. As the term 360° suggests the feedback is collated from people around them within the business, their manager, their peers and their subordinates. Additionally, the individual will also complete a questionnaire about themselves and often other groups of people can be included such as customers, suppliers or other stakeholders.

How is it completed?

The questionnaires we ask your team to complete consist of a number of statements that are rated on a scale. There is also opportunity to add some free text comments. The results are collated into a report to aid the understanding of an individual's strengths and areas of development measured against a specific set of competencies. The report can be used along with other appraisal techniques to help formulate an individual personal development plan.

The 360 survey can be effectively used to support business initiatives including: building management capability; leadership development; implementing strategic changes; organisational communication; performance management and succession planning.
